Vancouver Sun Run 2007 - High-Definition Photo
Fleet Feet Photos (fleetfeetphotos) did a great job of taking snapshots of over 54,000 runners for the 2007 Vancouver Sun Run.
They offer low-quality images for free, and higher quality images for a charge of $22 Cdn. I think that’s an excellent business idea; who wouldn’t want to keep track of their accomplishments?
Here it is, a photo of my final sprint, high-def:
Since there were so many runners, we were seperated into different colours (according to speed) and started in different waves. It was ordered like the following: blue –> yellow -> green –> white –> red –> purple. The blues were of course, professional athletes who could finish under 30 minutes, while the purples were walkers with baby strollers.
I was placed into the white category. Note how many green-tagged runners were behind me. (Oh yeah, there’s even a yellow-tagged runner on my right
)
Looks like I’m choosing a faster colour zone for next year’s run! ![]()
