Oliver Sacks!!!! The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat is splendid, as is Musicophilia.

I must also read Shake Hands with the Devil.

May I suggest also Empire of Illusion by Chris Hedges?

Have you read any of Ramachandran’s books?

Having read Romeo Dallaire’s book while watching him speak at SLC 2010 would make the experience so much more powerful.

Thanks for the recommendation — will check it out!
