The Best/Craziest Newspaper Classifieds Ads I Have Ever Seen! - Apollo Space Shuttle For Sale!

October 10th, 2007

Here are some really wacky classifieds ads I saw last week from the Vancouver Sun.

When I saw this, I thought, “Wow! This is pretty unique.”

It didn’t really occur to me at the time that there isn’t a way to get in touch with the seller. I only realized that this was a practical joke when the following showed up a few columns away:

An Apollo space shuttle for sale?! Hmm… now that’s more than a bit odd. Look at the outrageous price :P Even a monkey is included. Could John Chow afford to buy this, I wonder?

The price is not only crazy but something is obviously wrong on the second ad. How come they place a comma after four digits instead of three? That makes a bigger flaw.

that’s the point of the ad. why else would there be a monkey included?

I think the ad is really funny, someone had a strange mood the day he posted it or maybe he felt it is the way to make fun of the government.
