Interesting Changes in Traffic
So since my site redesign a couple of days back — during the Canadian Thanksgiving long-weekend — I’ve noticed a somewhat odd change in my traffic pattern:
Ranging from anywhere between one to two hundred visits per day (I know, not the most impressive 
— different for my exams collection though!) previously, now I get zero views all of a sudden? Hmm… that’s really odd.
I did put my blog on “maintenance mode” for three days straight and set my robots file to disallow all, but now that everything’s back to normal, shouldn’t the regular traffic return?
We’ll have to wait and see.

Once you have shut down ur site for maintainence, most ppl assume that it’s shut down 4ever and so they never come back. Oh well…lol

After submitting my comment, I was greeted with a donkey. With glee, I hit refresh and found myself face to face with a grinning lion. Then an elephant. More people should DEFINITELY come see this, because I? Love. Kudos!

The same thing happened to me when I redesigned my site. The fix is easy though. Just add wp-footer() just above tag in the relevant template file.

That happened to me before too… I actually had ZERO page views and I realized it was because I forgot to install the tracking code -.-
