Oh, and your article points out what? The fact that Chinese authorities are shutting down the Beijing airport during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games for security measures to you seems like a "RIDICULOUS" amount of government regulation. Yes, I wonder which is more ridiculous: that, or the Patriot Act. It's true: "them terrorists" are truly after us. You can't deny it -- even CNN said so ;)

Yes, yes, human rights is an acknowledged issue in China. Let's stay on the topic of thinking with an open mind: why doesn't the mass media (and why don't people like you) dedicate some time to address the obvious human rights abuses around the world as a direct result of the United States foreign policy? Why do you, instead, clamp down on China's internal human rights issues when there's nearly 100,000 Iraqi civilians killed?

Cheers, my friend! Clearly, you've taken my comments into consideration and thought through them. Sorry that I have a life and can't check your blog every single day; consequently, it's been 4 days since you posted it. Oh how I wish I could've gotten back to you earlier.

So, let's see. Your detailed response is interesting over all, but I have to point out that you should really watch your manner when posting blog entries -- what you don't want to say to people's face should not been said on a blog that communicates with others DIRECTLY. I'm a big fan of politics, and I enjoy watching political debates -- that's because people state and argue their points while staying polite =) Trust me, by doing so, you could only make points more convincing (of course, unless they are biased in the first place...)

Um... Let's see... How do you know I hardly have anything about the Chinese culture and the Chinese history? What if I study it? What if I know much more than you think you do? This is the whole point of being Mr. Anonymous, my friend (thought your rhetoric language analysis skills were better than this). See, do not make wrong assumption about people if you don't know them!

As much as I'd hate to point out, you seem to have ignored the entire issue around Chinese gov't approach on Human Rights! So called "progresses" the nation is making -- what is the price paid? How much do people have to sacrifice? Let's not look further, the RIDICULOUS amount of regulations the gov't has put out in prep for the Olympics would speak quite loudly already. Maybe take a look at this article then we shall discuss some more.

I know it's from CNN, and you very likely have a BIG problem with CNN! Regardless of the tone that's used in the article, FACTS ARE FACTS, and that's what I care here!

For your record, I shall have much more to say; but unfortunately, I not only have a life but also a job. I will come back some time soon and carry on our discussion.
