Feeling Good
Despite having numerous obstacles ahead, I’m feeling good.
Of course, summer term 1 classes are nearly over — satisfaction is high. Is this what learning feels like? I’m I beginning to find a grip? Aye. Aye.
But that’s not all. No, no.
Though I have miles to go before I sleep, miles to go before I sleep — why, Byng Arts English suddenly flowing into my memory, this must be mood-congruency at play — I cannot help but to feel good. Did I just unintentionally rhyme the first couple of paragraphs?
The B-Line is an interesting place, though I would much rather prefer to take the #4 home if it is past 10:27 PM and only if the humble trolley does not frequent in stopping.
I must say, I enjoy helpful people. (Ah, I’m trying to use more simple, Anglo-Saxon words here, even in this post. Orwell speaks the truth, does he not? This is turning out to be one strange post.) I especially like to help young people get out of their seats in the front of the bus when an elderly lady, clinging onto a the side of a seat for support, struggles to stand upright beside them.
Please, helpless fools, quit jesting. Why did no one else stop their neuro-decay by cellular phones? Why did no one else speak a word?
The grateful light from the elderly lady’s eyes are very rewarding.
Time to nourish my cells. Sleeeep.
