End George Bush’s Police State, Change America; Ron Paul’s the Man
“The President has no war power, only the Congress has that. When one person can initiate war, by its definition, a republic no longer exists.”
Ron Paul, Speech to Congress, March 9, 1999
So why do so many of us love Ron Paul and believe he should be the next President of the United States? Why do we barely hear his name in the mass media? Read on and find out yourself.
Ron Paul is an advocate of:
- States’ rights
- Free trade
- Fewer taxes (typical Conservative ideal)
- Smaller government (good bye to George Bush’s police state)
- Strong national sovereignty
- Non-interventionism
Non-interventionism defined:
Nonintervention is a foreign policy which holds that political rulers should avoid alliances with other nations and avoid all wars not related to direct territorial self-defense. A similar phrase is “strategic independence”.
In other words, leave others alone and you’ll be left alone.
Don’t let the Neo-Cons’ give you a bad image of the Republicans
He has called for the abolition of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the federal income tax. He also voted against the USA PATRIOT Act, the Iraq War Resolution, and the Military Commissions Act of 2006.
According to Ron Paul, the Republican party has lost its way. True Conservatism isn’t about fighting in an unpopular war, a struggling economy at home, and international hatred as a result of foreign policies.

He is the exact antithesis of George Bush’s neo-cons.
Enough of my rambling…

This is pretty interesting. A bit self promoting but still good check it out http://youtube.com/watch?v=XbcNKvlDVjY
Seems like a winner. Has some good views. Then again, I am not a big GWB fan.
Seems like Ron Paul is the best candidate on the Republican side
I would have voted for him when he ran in the ‘88 election as a Libertarian (if I wasn’t just 2 years old then :P)
I hope he wins the Republican nomination. I like his views the more I hear about him.
I think anyone who votes for George Bush again should have his head examined and be committed. I think we need a change of leadership in the White House and get out of Iraq fast. If Ron Paul really will implement what he says then he would be a could candidate for office.
Those are Great Ideas*
It’s a shame the Republican Party has been Usurped by the NeoCons the Bush Brainwashed Flock of Christian Fundamentalist Taliban-like Holier-than-Thou Religious Zealots*
Are Republicans Doing Anything to Rid Themselves of those Idiots!!???
;))
IMPEACH BUSH!!
Peace*

Ron Paul is the man that should be seated in the whitehouse next.If we still lived in a free society, and we the people still ran this country this would happen. The powers that be will do all they can to stop this from being.
