“Research has also suggested that feelings of gratitude may be beneficial to subjective emotional well-being (Emmons & McCullough, 2003)”

Showing my appreciation better helps me over come stress… (now repeat that to yourself x number of times)

So we’re on day 3, and I began to look at life from a more detailed perspectives. For example, my text books, binders, and all the other miscellaneous school-related objects. Though I hate them, I love them. You could call that a paradox.

I “dislike” my texts simply because they weigh a lot ( and they sometimes cause psychological distress). Yet I love my texts because I am grateful for the outstanding Canadian public education system. Schooling (K-12 + text books) is mostly free - I really appreciate that.
