CBC Internet Radio Stations
Do to the recent changes in CBC, including the killing off of day-time classical programing — where they now play barn-dance music instead — I’ve been listening to my own library a lot lately. But, you know, one needs to hear something different once in a while.
Tonic is absolutely wonderful; I love it. It’s not good enough though: only 2 hours of good jazz a day simple doesn’t do justice.
I’ve discovered the wonders of CBC’s online radio stations — playing a certain genre 24/7, non-stop. So here’s what my Rythmbox radio playlist looks like:
CBC Jazz:

CBC Classical:

No kidding eh? I mean… sometimes it’s bearable in the morning. But in the afternoon… it usually gets pretty brutal.
