Akismet Spam Admin Problem/Error – “Thirty-Five” (35)

I noticed an issue with my Akismnet Spam admin page a few days ago.

I would wander around my Wordpress administration dashboard like I usually do, and notice the %$!@-load of spam I’ve been receiving (and thankfully blocked by Akismet).

Then, I would click on Akismnet Spam (35) to get rid of and/or filter out some of the comments. However, this is what I’ve been getting in the past week or so:

I’m sure the “35″ displayed in the Akismet Spam admin page has nothing to do with the 35 spam comments I got (it was like that even when I had fewer spam).

Has anyone experienced this similar problem with Akismet? I’ve tried to disable and re-enable the plugin, and have even reinstalled it. Nothing has helped.

I’m I the only one who’s having this issue? Can anyone help?
